About Me
I am a storyteller at heart, working toward a bachelor's degree in journalism, and relational and organizational communication studies. My passion is sharing compelling stories of those who would not otherwise be noticed. I enjoy learning from others through their experiences and I believe it is important to expand our perspectives to have a deeper understanding of the world around us. In the past, I have done some sports reporting and social justice/cultural writing, but I am more recently considering what it may look like to work in the corporate setting. I am very mission-driven and would like to work for a company that invests in its workers and communities while addressing shared challenges. My guilty pleasures include iced coffee, KitKats and murder mysteries. My hobbies outside of the classroom are pitching on the mound, reading and traveling.
